ZIMBABWE is taking a leading role in promoting sustainable development and environmental protection in Southern Africa.

Speaker of the National Assembly, Advocate Jacob Mudenda, is attending the 56th Plenary Assembly Session of the Southern Africa Development Community Parliamentary Forum (SADC-PF) in Livingstone, Zambia.

As Zimbabwe prepares to host the 57th SADC PF Plenary Assembly, the country is emphasizing the importance of green technologies and innovative solutions to address environmental challenges.

Advocate Mudenda said: “Zimbabwe is committed to promoting sustainable development and protecting the environment.”

He added: “We believe that by working together, we can create a greener and more sustainable future for our region.”

The SADC PF assembly is focusing on leveraging technology and innovation to build smart, inclusive, and responsive parliaments.

Zimbabwe is playing a key role in this effort, sharing its expertise and experience in promoting sustainable development and environmental protection.
